Update!

I finally got the phone call....well first I got a call back from the ENT doctor's office. Sadie is "tongue-tied" and they were finally able to make an appointment for her to get it fixed. She is unable to bring her tongue to the top of her mouth which makes swallowing hard and sucking on a pacifier even harder.

And then, as I was talking to Sadie's doctor, the surgeon who performed my biopsy called me with final results. He didn't have a ton more info, but I do in fact have Hodgkins Lymphoma. I will be scheduled to see the Oncologist that my uncle sees (this is a very good thing) and should get a call with the appointment within a few days. The Oncologist will be the one to schedule any further testing and decide what treatment plan is best.

I hope and pray that I get some sleep tonight since I am physically and emotionally exhausted! Thank you all for your prayers and support. We will continue to keep you updated!

Hi again from the Badger side. Should I really be the first to post on your update? Anyways, thank you for sharing how God is taking care of all of you and sending His support in special ways for you. Glad that Sadie is making a little more progress on a gentle formula, but sorry that you have had so much to deal with in the care of both girls at the same time. Do let us know if things settle enough for us to come help you rest or get out with Keith somehow this weekend.
We love you and are continually praying. Will call you soon too:)

I do remember locking myself in the bathroom and crying while Dane and Nicole cried outside the door. It happens and they survived! Trust in the Lord with ALL your heart and lean not on your own understanding.

we will continue to pray.

by the way, zeb was tongue-tied, and we had his tongue (well, the frenulum, or whatever it's called) "clipped" when he was two weeks. it made a huge difference, and it's totally painless because there are no nerve endings there.

Wow... We totally know what you guys are going through. Ezekiel was tongue tied (extended frenulum) We had to take Zeko to a plastic surgeon in Orange County to get it fixed. Please give that lactation consultant a call she helped us with zeko's tongue tie.
We are praying for you guys.

My daughter was also tongue tied. She had the "clipping" procedure done and did just fine.
We will be thinking of you from our home in Virginia and wishing you the best. You have alot on your plate and we will be hoping for the best for you and your family.
