Time for a date!

Monday night, Cara and I actually went on a date! We went to our favorite spot--Uppercrust--and shared our favorite dish--Pasta Milano! It's unbelievable how great conversation is when you don't have 2 kids around. We saw another Grace family, who made our special night even more so by secretly picking up our bill!! And as if that were not enough, Tammy (Uppercrust Manager) then brought us out a scrumptious slice of chocolate cheesecake on the house. I seriously almost cried--what a night! Here are some pictures taken just before the big date.

Even when we least expect it, the Lord comes through with something so encouraging. Like friends "picking up the bill," then the restaurant giving you dessert "on the house!" Wow, that is the Lord for sure!! No doubt!

Still praying!

i have seen pictures of your beautiful family before. Keith's dad sent us last year's newsletter. I must say, Keith, your wife has a killer smile. what a beautiful couple you make. Eight weeks is terrific. Did they tell you guys how long before the side effects kick in? I will be praying for strength and endurance.
you guys are amazing.

Hi Cara - Love the 'new hairdo'. It is very flattering & you are lovely. My friend (about 45 yrs old) just completed Chemo & radiation after a single mastectomy. She is doing remarkably well. Her hair came in curly after her treatments. She is the administrator of the Christian School at our church. Our Lord is so gracious to His children.
Happy to hear about your date night. A similar thing happened to us on our 52nd anniversary, complete strangers picked up our dinner tab. (We had shared a table with them at a very busy restaurant). I know there a lot of good people out there & I thank the Lord for that. ~Auntie Jan~

How fun! I love the Pasta Milano too! I had that my last week in SLO as my final dish at Upper Crust for awhile!
I'm glad you guys got to get out before the madness starts!!! It's a blessing to have a few live-in babysitters, huh!
